Porcelain Veneers

This patient had four front composite veneers that were over ten years old.  The veneers were not ideal shape and had stained yellow over time.  When thin translucent porcelain is placed with colorless cement on a perfectly colored tooth, the result is the transition between the tooth and the restoration is invisible thus no need exists to bury the margin of the restoration deep under the gum to hide it. This patient was extremely happy with the cosmetic results.
