This is a hands-on opportunity for your chair-side assistant to learn the 'art' of making temporaries that keep tissue health and make patients happy.
The dental assisting team of William C. Strupp, Jr. DDS, who has trained assistants nationwide over the past 15 years in the “Strupp Technique” for making OUTSTANDING provisional restorations!
Our instructors will furnish sufficient materials to teach the hands-on course; however, in order to properly participate in this hands-on course, each dental assistant attending will need to bring their own electrical laboratory hand piece and eye protection (magnification if possible).
- To fabricate multiple units of temporaries using an indirect technique.
- Taking perfect alginate impressions.
- Pouring “bubble-free” models.
- Making custom trays.
- Lots of useful “tricks of the trade” for gaining a better biologic and cosmetic outcome!
